Le Soleil Stud is based in Piemonte, an Italian region located in the north of Italy. Piemonte is famous for its excellent wine and food. Here, since 2000, Elvis Giughera is breeding a selected collection of Arabian horses.
This year Le Soleil had four fillies, all by the magnificent ZT Magnofantasy. The choice of breeding important mares with the same stallion can be without doubts risky. Let’s see what drove Elvis to make this decision.
E.G. - I fell in love with ZT Magnofantasy since the very first time I saw him four years ago at Alfabia Stud. Back then he was a young, but already very impressive. A tall and perfect body, a long arched neck, and of course, an amazing dishy head. After that visit to Alfabia Stud I decided to breed with him one of my mares and got an outstanding filly called NIZWA LE SOLEIL.
After this filly I decided to go further with ZT Magnofantasy. This time the cross was with my WH Justice daughter. The union gave me a beautiful grey colt called Osmanthus Le Soleil, now owned by my dear friend Miloslava Khamis, from Bebo Stud.
I was so thrilled about them both that yes, I jumped! I bred my best four mares with ZT Magnofantasy and the results this year are truly impressive! Four beautiful fillies, one better than the other! ZT Magnofantasy has been a very influential horse for Le Soleil, as he didn't only transmit beauty, but also attitude. Since the early days I’ve been able to see these features in his progeny, and now it is truly a pleasure for the eye to look at them showing off in the pastures.
